As you already know, the myAbility Business Forum Switzerland has officially arrived in Switzerland and we will soon be celebrating the first DisAbility Confidence Day Switzerland! We are delighted to present the first updates on the programme and special guests.

Programme of the DisAbility Confidence Day Switzerland

We will open doors and registration at 1.30 pm and will start the official programme already at 2.00 pm - so make sure to be there on time. 😉
Also note that the event will be held in English and participation is free of charge.

Expect several programme highlights, starting with three interesting and practice-oriented workshops on the following topics:

  • Workshop1: "How to convince the management to start a disability inclusion journey" - This workshop provides you with practical strategies and data-driven approaches to convince corporate management to start the disability inclusion journey. Challenges related to data collection and leveraging will also be discussed.
  • Workshop2: "Digital Accessibility meets Google ADC" - This workshop provides you with a comprehensive understanding of digital accessibility, including best practices for making products and websites accessible. The session will furthermore highlight technical aspects, tools and innovations in the field of AI in accessibility.
  • "Unlocking Your Full Potential - The Power of Non-Visible Disabilities" - This workshop highlights the importance of understanding and addressing non-visible disabilities within the workplace, focusing on both the internal challenge of encouraging disclosure and the external opportunity of recruiting more people with disabilities. The session will debunk common myths and share best practices for fostering an inclusive culture.

The workshops will be followed by a supporting programme of talks and discussions. We are particularly pleased that some special guests will be honouring us with their input during the event - among others, we are happy to welcome:

  • Bairbre Hickie, General Manager Takeda Switzerland
  • Christine Antlanger-Winter, CEO Google Switzerland
  • Roman Iselin, Vice President EMEA Regional Supply Chain MedTech, Co-Chair Swiss Leadership Team, Johnson & Johnson (tbc)
  • Manuel Meister, Managing Director, Inclusion & Diversity Lead Accenture Switzerland
  • Patrick Schilling, Generative AI Partnerships & Google Zurich Accessibility Discovery Center Lead

Co-founder and managing director of myAbility Wolfgang Kowatsch will also be joining us as a guest on stage.

After the workshops and stage programme, we look forward to lively discussions in an informal setting and to toasting to the arrival of the myAbility Business Forum in Switzerland.
