DisAbility Confidence Day Switzerland 2025

Event Datetime
11.11.2025, 13:00 - 18:00

The DisAbility Confidence Day Switzerland is the business event for inclusive corporate practice and the annual main event of the myAbility Business Forum Switzerland.

On November 11, 2025, leading voices from business, HR and technology will gather in Zug to address a central question: How can we integrate the potential of people with disabilities and chronic conditions into our working world as a matter of course – making it measurable and visible?

From data & wellbeing to digital accessibility, neuro-inclusion and inclusive hiring – this is where knowledge meets implementation. Because diversity without inclusion remains ineffective.

Sessions

Throughout six interactive sessions on current trends and topics related to the inclusion of people with disabilities, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and exchange ideas in smaller groups.

The DisAbility Confidence Day is structured into two session blocks, each offering three parallel sessions. Participants can choose one session per block – allowing for a total of two individually selected topics.

Block 1: 2:00 - 2:45 PM

A) Dos and Don'ts in inclusive hiring

Inclusive hiring processes have various benefits – from shaping an inclusive employer brand to tapping into an often-overlooked talent pool. Yet, aspects like uncertainties regarding legal requirements might hinder companies from implementing inclusive practices. Join this session to learn about important dos and don'ts when improving inclusion in recruiting.

B) From data to action – Measuring inclusion as part of employee wellbeing

This session shows how disability management can be integrated into a broader wellbeing approach. We connect inclusion metrics with wellness indicators, demonstrate how to read signals from employee surveys, and outline a simple measurement logic that managers can apply across HR touchpoints.

C) Digital accessibility – How the European Accessibility Act impacts Swiss companies

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) came into force at the end of June 2025. What do Swiss companies need to know about how the new regulations affect their practice? With a focus on digital accessibility in the e-commerce, this exchange provides concise information, current requirements, and insights from the world of accessible e-commerce.

Bock 2: 3:15 - 4:00 PM

A) Now that didn't go so well - Learning from past inclusion mishaps

Starting something new often comes with the fear of making mistakes – particularly when shaping inclusive business processes. Yet, embracing such mistakes can unlock valuable insights, paving the way for new ideas. In this session, you will learn from real-life experiences of different companies that have navigated their own inclusion challenges and have found a way to more effective solutions.

B) Neuro-inclusion in the business world

With neurodiversity and neurodivergence being discussed heavily in recent years, uncertainties still exist when it comes to leveraging their potential in the business world. Therefore, the goal for this session is to talk about key factors and exchange best practices in neuro-inclusion, together with neurodivergent experts by experience.

C) Inclusion strategies – Best practices for long-term impact

The inclusion of people with disabilities is not a sprint, but a marathon. It therefore takes a long-term approach for companies to implement inclusive practices. Learn from inclusive leaders what key aspects drive inclusion strategically, from goals to structures and processes. Engage with us to discuss best practices to ensure business success while shaping an inclusive culture.
