myAbility Social Enterprise GmbH (referred to "myAbility") is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act in its current version for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019, on the accessibility requirements for products and services (Official Journal L151/70, June 7, 2019). This accessibility statement applies to the website www.myability.org.

State of Compliance with the Requirements

This website partially complies with Conformance Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the applicable standard Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services (EN 301 549 v3.2.1) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not within the scope of the applicable regulations:

  • Our social media channels are operated on platforms that are not under the control of myAbility. While these platforms provide a certain degree of accessibility, the level of accessibility for our content published there is largely determined by the technical and other conditions of the respective platforms.
  • Tools and external pages of myAbility (e.g., myAbility.jobs) are not covered by this accessibility statement due to their technical and formal distinction from myAbility.org. These are partially operated by third-party tools and therefore fall outside the influence of myAbility, and thus are not affected by the Directive (EU) 2019/882.
  • Content from third parties, such as presentation materials or research reports, that are not within the control of myAbility, are exempt from the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of these third-party content with accessibility provisions.

 

Creation of this Accessibility Statement

This statement was created by myAbility employees on June 5, 2023 (last update: June 5, 2023).

The evaluation of the website's compliance with the Accessibility Act for the implementation of the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 was conducted through ongoing internal accessibility audits based on WCAG 2.1 at AA conformance level between August 2022 and April 2023.
