myAbility and Takeda look back to their first Inclusion Open House in Switzerland!

What an inspiring afternoon we had at the Takeda office in Glattpark-Opfikon last week!

At this event, myAbility shared its expertise in structural accessibility and inclusive design, while Takeda presented its journey, learnings and best practices in creating inclusive office spaces.

The event featured two keynotes and a panel discussion. Four experts — Benjamin Trautmann, (EUCAN Hub Sites Facility Operations Lead, Takeda), Giovana Valmaggia (Design & Workplace Strategy Manager, Takeda), Jason Netos (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead Oncology, Corporate Functions and DE&I Projects) and Andreas Maierhofer (Lead Business Forum, Specialist in Structural Accessibility, myAbility) — shared valuable insights on fostering inclusion in the workplace.

Key topics discussed included:

  • Structural accessibility and inclusion across diverse workplace settings
  • The transformation of the Takeda Zurich premises and inclusive office design
  • Handling structural accessibility and other aspects of inclusion in multinational companies operating across various regions of the world

After the keynotes and panel discussion, participants enjoyed ample time for networking, accompanies by delecacies from the Saint Jacob Foundation in Zurich, an organization dedicated to the inclusion of people with disabilities on the labor market.

It was a pleasure to exchange perspectives and have insightful conversations with all event participants at Takeda Switzerland!
